SECOND BLOG ENTRY

University study requires students to take responsibility for their own learning, to be more self- directed, to make their own decisions about what they will focus on and how much time they will spend on learning both inside and outside the classroom. 

Based on the previous statement and on what I read on the book, I can say that is true because if we don’t take responsibility in our own learning nobody is going to do it because our learning is in our hands and we have to put our best effort to learn in order to succeed in life, also we have to be conscious when we are taking decisions because we make decisions just because it sounds good or looks good but we don’t take time to think if is something good or if it is something that at the end can be against our future. 

Sometimes study takes a lot of effort but in life good things requires effort. I think that in the university nobody is going to tell you have to do this because is for your own benefits or don’t do this because is not going to help you; here is where it comes responsibility because we are the only ones that can take the decision to be  responsible also to take serious the studies.

I believe that how much time we are going to spend studying a subject outside the classroom or if we are going to pay attention when we are in the classroom or if we are going to do all the homework or activities depend in our eager to learn and to be a succeed person in the future.   

As I said university students have to be responsible for all their action and to put the best effort because we have a big opportunity that is to study besides that we are studying something that we really like and just having the opportunity to study is a blessed, especially in our country where go to the university is not an option for many high school students and they just finished high school and that is it.

I think that the biggest responsibility that we as university students have is to give more than 100% of effort and to keep going in that way,  which can take us to success and at the end of the semester we can say we did it.
